Living His Dream. We were desperate for something original, not a chain, not a buffet, something REAL. As soon as we saw – and smelled – Smokey Dembo’s, we knew we had found what we were looking for.Smokey dreamed of opening his own place, and one day, just around the corner from where he lived, this place became available. He bought it, and 11 years later, he is a happy man, living his dream. The quality of his food reflects that; the boneless pork plate is out of this world, the cole slaw very good and the potato salad and the baked beans are memorable. We were all so happy we found Smokey Dembo’s. We can’t wait to go back.
