I absolutely LOVE Spot of Tea. Their tea is the best I’ve ever had- fresh from a tea plantation. And their Monte Cristo is my favorite. It’s got lots of awesome variety and I love the environment!

The cajun omelet or any omelet is wonderful. The chicken salad sandwich is also wonderful for lunch. They can get a little busy at times, but it’s because of their great food. Service is hit or miss.. Sit on the patio 🙂

Very Good Breakfast. I’ve always liked the food better than the atmosphere, but there’s no denying this is a great place for a tasty breakfast. I tried a bacon and cheese omelette recently, and it was unbelievably loaded with crisp bacon. I’d almost call it overkill, but it was a great indulgent treat.

I dont get the big whoop about this place. The food was disgusting will never go back I ordered broccoli cheese soup and it tasted like the crap you get out of a can definitely not homemade I also ordered the eggs Benedict it was OK nothing to write home about and the seafood was not fresh don’t believe that lie and last but not least the decor is just absolutely weird if you ask me makes no sense and the dirty ass pink spiral couch by the mechanical piano was so disgusting looking that alone almost made me want to leave. The only plus they get from me is that the staff was nice and friendly other than that nothing in there would ever make me want to go back I would have had a better time a Denny’s or waffle house

Wonderful Restaurant with Really Good Food. Spot of Tea is on the old downtown area of Dauphin Road. The front door faces an open park and has a few tables that they service across the road. The patio is cute with a spiral iron stair case. Inside the decor is a mix of reds, whites and blacks. It’s very appealing. A self-playing grand piano plays up near the host station. Half the tables are barstool style, while the other half are regular height. Overall, the appeal is very enjoyable. Now comes the food, oh the food. It’s really well done. Eggs Cathedral blew us away. All five of us gave it a thumbs up, way up. The strawberry tea is a must. It’s not sweet, but it’s not unsweet. Whatever you decide to call it, just make sure you try it. All of the food we tried here was good. Pair it with the quaint setting and you have great place to add to your list.
