BEST EVER!. Wonderful, locally owned donut shop. Each and every pastry handmade with care. Absolutely delicious glazed donuts with just the right amount of yeast taste. I can’t say enough good about everything I tried. Amazing. Don’t walk, run to get you some. Too bad I live in Pensacola. Well, on second thought…………….. LOL. Enjoy.10 Feb, 2015FANTASTIC. BEST EVER. USA student. I’ve been hearing all of my friends rave about Sugar Rush, so today, I decided to try it out. There were so many tempting choices! I asked for some recommendations and went with the red velvet cake doughnut. I was really impressed with the kind and personal service I received. The doughnut was the best that I have ever had! I’m a baker of sweets, so I notice the little things. The cream cheese icing on top was the perfect amount, not too much, not too little. The pecan topping was a great choice, it really highlighted the crunchy bottom of the doughnut. The icing wasn’t too sweet or too thick.If you want a doughnut that reminds you of something your amazingly great cook of a grandma would make, filled with love and made with great care to detail, go here! I know that I’ll be a repeat customer for sure! (Also, great pricing! I got a fancy cake doughnut and a special one for a friend for $3)
