The service was great and pricing can’t be beat. I ordered the cheeseburger and fries, which was a huge disappointment. I’ve had ham sandwiches with thicker ham than this burger patty. It was thinner than most sausage patties, and had little to no flavor. The chili was the consistency of sloppy joe meat, and there was so much of it, that’s all I could taste. The steak fries were ‘meh’. Sweet tea was perfect, and I’m a stickler for good tea. The onion rings were pretty good and I don’t even like onions. The reason for the good rating was my friends meal, he had the fried catfish po-boy which I tasted. That was some of THE best fried catfish I’ve ever put in my mouth. It was light and fluffy but with a crispy, ‘heavy on the cornmeal’ batter which is how catfish is meant to be. I will definitely be back, if nothing else, just for that sandwich.
