Visitors from out of town looking for a good dining experience. We were impressed with the food ( Filet was outstanding) the service (Waiter was attentive and smart) and the atmosphere. Great spot! We have eaten all over the country in all the major cities and this is right up there. The Royal Scam had a great urban neighborhood feel as well. i.e Lincoln Park, Chicago.
Fantastic restaurant with chill atmosphere. It was a great place to go. We went with kids and they accommodated us with patio seating, but I’d say it’s more of an adult locale. I didn’t get to enjoy the wine selections but it seems like a great wine menu. My husband had the Bacon & Cheese Royale burger and couldn’t say enough about it. He’s a burger buff, so he tries them everywhere we go, and he gave it rave reviews. I had the beef tenderloin sandwich and it was the best one I’ve had. The beef was so super tender and in nicely-sized bites. The bun was super soft and fresh. My children shared the beef tenderloin appetizer and fries (an loved it), and my teenager had the bacon, tomato, & cheese panini and enjoyed every bite. The sides we chose were the field greens and fries, and both were awesome! The greens were a delicious mix of field greens, green apple, nuts, and a vinaigrette. Try this place! I think the menu could be expanded, but otherwise I would have given it a 5.
