1st visit: My teenage daughter and her boyfriend went for dinner. She had the cheese board and said it was disappointing. She brought the rest home for our opinion and I would have to agree. Crustini was fine. Blue cheese was meh. Second cheese was shredded (weird for a cheese board) and tasted like Parmesan youd put on pasta). Third cheese was crumbled (again, weird) and tasted fine. Fruit chutney was marmelaide fresh out of the jar. Her boyfriend loved the mussels.Second visit: my husband and I went to see for ourselves. Drinks were fantastic (Italian red, glenmorangie signet, dirty martini and Joe Spicer). The bruschetta was so over salted it was inedible. My husband enjoy the belly fat fries. The crispy brussels salad was also a bit salty, but sprouts typically are when roasted and I probably wouldnt have minded had I not been subjected to the over salted bruschetta first. Mozarella and Craig is that were in the salad were a stroke of genius. My husband loved the short ribs. Cooked to perfection and the anglaise was en pointe. Too bad they felt the need to local it up with grits instead of sticking with decent mashed potatoes. I loved the pecan pie. Hubby thought not sweet enough. Coffee creamer brle had a nice taste although I prefer a crisper glaze and creme over mousse like stuff underneath. Service was fantastic from hostess to waitress to busboy.
I ate here a few weeks ago… it is probably one of the best restaurants in Montgomery and probably the best space.The ambience was great, there were large group of auto executives drinking large quantities of booze but that was fine.The service was very good but the food was just average on this trip. I’ve been here two times before the food was better so I’m gonna give it a break and recommend it and try it again because I know they can do better and have. There was a problem with the light over ourTable and they came by to check on us numerous times to see if we wanted to move or were happy. I Appreciated their extra attentiveness.This place is worth going to try again then I will.

Best restaurant in Alabama doesn’t disappoint with their seasonal menus filled with farm fresh ingredients and natural meats. Don’t miss the rotating cocktail menu and wine list.
I’ve been here for both lunch and dinner. Chef Leo knows how to put an amazing dish together. I’ve never had a bad experience here.
Best dinner I ever had. My whole flunder was amazing… Desserts are to die for… Will be back again….
