Best fried chicken in Montgomery. Don’t let the appearance turn you away. The food is amazingly Southern and delicious.
Ok, you can’t let the outside appearance deceive you..this place rocks! It’s clean and the food is great! The fried chicken is some of the best we’ve had!
Hands down the best down home soul food in the city. Best greens. Best field peas. Best cornbread. Best sweet tea. Best banana pudding. Fried ocean perch was the best fried fish I’ve ever had.

Delicious. If u r looking for good soul food, this is the place to be. I went there because of the reviews and was not disappointed, the food was very good, I had the pink homemade lemonade, a must to go with your food also the service was fantastic. It is worth ur while. I will definitely be going back for seconds.

I promise it’s open.. The only way to know the place is not closed is by all the traffic. Seriously good meat and three. Soul chicken and collards. No need for butter on them cornbread muffins – it’s like it’s already baked in there! No room for dessert today but they were looking good. Next time…
