Wonderful meal. My wife and walked in around 11:15 a.m., and the place was empty. Quick, efficient, and friendly service occur. We order plates of ribs with sides. The meal is awesome: the sauce is what made the ribs great. By the time we leave, an hour later, the place is packed. Clearly, this place is popular.
I walked in and nobody greeted me. Poor customer service from a manager, but greeted another customer who looked different than me. Just sad.
Great food. Ribs where fall off the bone tender sides where great and the waiter was friendly and always came and checked on us well worth stopping by

I ate plenty of dreamland in Tuscaloosa and the MGM location does not compare. Over the years I have been eating dreamland in MGM but have watched the quality steadily go downhill. Over cooked, dry flavorless ribs. They try to disguise the lack of flavor with drowning the food in the sauce. The sauce is still great but that is it
Overall Pretty Good.. Service was prompt and friendly. Started with the BBQ Quesadilla which was delicious. For the main, had the Ultimate Combo Plate which comes with chopped chicken, chopped, pork, and ribs (You can add sausage for an additional $2 as well). The chopped meats were nice and smoky. The ribs I found to be dry and scrawny. Side dishes were good not amazing, but what you could expect at most BBQ joints. Atmosphere and location is great. The feel of the restaurant is modern but still rustic.
