I really liked Dreamlands atmosphere, drink selections, service, etc. The food, however, was just good. Ive had a lot of BBQ and this place was just okay – this may be an unfair judgment though, considering that I ordered one of their baked potato meals.The potato was loaded with cheese, butter, bbq chicken, onions, some other garnishes and a side of their awesome sauce (dont remember what its called). It was overall pretty good and filling, but nothing special! The loaded potato + a local beer = $14.My friends ordered the more meatier plates, and the meals looked awesome! Ill probably give the restaurant another shot and change my review :).
Great atmosphere, service and sweet tea! We also enjoyed the sides – mac & cheese and potato salad; however, our chopped pork sandwiches were very disappointing (meat was real tough; nearly inedible; average sauce). In our opinion, even with a great atmosphere and satisfying sides, if the meat is sub-par, then the restaurant is sub-par. We would try Dreamland again for its ribs, but not any time soon.
