Not bad food. Don’t expect 5 star food. This is a basic eating place with country style cooking. Some dishes are better than others, some are worse.Value for what you get is pretty decent. The black eyed peas are very good.

Food was okay but very overpriced. $26 for two pieces of chicken, two veggies & two drinks????

Some of the largest pancakes and omelets you can get for the money. Great food and a friendly atmosphere. Open for breakfast and lunch.

This is one of the BEST places to eat in Alabama! An awesome meat & 3 with the best desserts and sweet tea you’ll ever have!

Largest diner in downtown Montgomery–go through the cafeteria line and make your selection–excellent fried chicken and chicken livers. They have a weekly set rotation of menus so check their website to get the rotation. Also has a fantastic breakfast menu– get a table and order off the menu. The device is sometimes overwhelmed whe they are full, but give them a chance–they do s good job. Oh, after lunch, they’ll offer you ice cream dessert, in little cups just like when you were a kid in school–I like the orange sherbert! And it’s just enough after those great veggies. (I usually get a vegetable plate here.). And don’t pass up Tucker’s Pecans across the street– great fresh pecans!
