Island delight isnt the best Caribbean food Ive had, but it still hit the spot. I think the food could use a bit more kick. I expected my jerk chicken to be a little wetter and spicier, but the dish came with my jerk sauce on the side (it was also way too sweet for my taste). My rating would have been a 3, BUT the oxtail was mouthwatering!! My friend ordered the oxtail, and I had a taste – just perfectly seasoned and soft; the meat fell right off the bones. I asked for some of the gravy to put over my rice and beans (r&b was nothing special). I would come back just for another taste of oxtail, but the jerk chicken is just okay. Service and atmosphere are on point, though. Im used to more hole in the wall establishments, but this restaurant is beautifully decorated with really nice plates! Its very different, but I like the vibes.

Absolutely no frills but really, really great food at a reasonable price. The food is authentic Jamaican and delicious. If you like Jamaican food, you will love this restaurant. If I ate there as often as I wanted, I’d be there every day that they’re open … it’s really that good!
