Wonderful SeafoodI live in south Louisiana and always suspect of seafood outside my state, but Jubilee nails fresh fish cooked well. The prices are high but I am willing to pay for fresh seafood. The restaurant is quant and simple but the fish is great and I am looking forward to going back next time we pass through

VERY disappointing. This place used to be good. The quality and the service has really gone down hill. While it is pricy for Montgomery, it used to be worth it. The last several times I’ve been, I have given them the benefit of the doubt. Tonight, food and service were just so bad – no more excuses. It’s sad. Another landmark that probably won’t be around in 5 years. Gone the way of the Elite, Sahara, et al.

Go for the food, not the ambiance. It might look a little run down but don’t judge a book by the cover. The fish is perfectly prepared and always fresh. Our server was very knowledgable and personable. I also appreciated that he didn’t rush my friends and I and let us linger long after we were done while still refilling drinks etc. It is a little more expensive than other restaurants but worth it. Children would be welcome if you didn’t mind spending the money on them. I had the wasabi ginger tuna and a wedge salad with homemade blue cheese dressing and both were very good. Next time I want to try the crab claws!

Good ol jubilee. Whatever negative comments you see about the side dishes and dcor are absolutely true. But thats not what brings people. At jubilee, you will absolutely get a perfectly prepared piece of fish. Everytime. Believe me, there are a lot of restaurants in town with nice atmosphere and awful cooking. If you dont care for Jubilee’s formula then go to one of those.

The seafood at Jubilee is fresh and always perfectly cooked. Their sides aren’t anything to write home about. The prices are a bit higher than some comparable seafood restaurants in Birmingham though but if you happen to be in Montgomery and have a craving for a well cooked seafood then this is the place for you!

Consistent GREAT Seafood. Blackened MAHIMAHI with Cajun Popcorn and Louisiana Pepper Cream – been on the menu for 20+ years
