Doesn’t look like much on the outside, but don’t be fooled; this place is excellent! Food is fresh, tasty, and served by a friendly, efficient staff. This was my first visit there, but it definitely won’t be my last!
What would you say about a restaurant that charges different prices than those shown on the menu when you go to pay your bill? When asked why, the waitress claimed the boss is making new menus, but the boss, who isnt there, forces her to charge the new rates and ignore the menu prices.What would you say if you went back to that restaurant six months later and the same thing happened again? This time the waitress gave the same explanation then added no one else has complained. That implies that the problem was us. Silly me, I thought the issue was that the restaurant wasnt charging us the prices shown on the menu. Or, maybe, no one complains because everyone isnt treated the same when it comes to prices here.We will not return. Food isnt the issue, but being treated fair is. I dont think this practice is legal nor is it ethical. I choose to spend my money at restaurants that play fair and deliver quality food and service.
Just ate here for lunch and had a super enjoyable time. Fast and friendly service, delightful and cost effective lunch! Would definitely come back again.
Consistently Great. I’ve been to La Coronilla several times and haven’t ordered wrong yet. From the fish taco to burritos the size of your head, it’s a great place and a good value. Lunch menu lets you mix and match from a variety of available options. I also am under the opinion that their salsa is the best in town.
YOU MUST EAT HERE!. Best and most authentic Mexican food I’ve ever had, anywhere. That includes anywhere I’ve eaten in Texas. Try just about anything on the menu and you’ll be converted. If you’re in Montgomery, you have to try them out. Try the sopas carnitos, the barbacoa, or chile rellenos, all amazing. AND, it’s BYOB! What else y’all want?
Great food. I’ve ate here several times and have never been disappointed. the tacos are great. the pastor, carnitas tacos are the real deal. This is real authentic Mexican food. Tamales and tortas are tasty. Don’t be afraid to order off the Hispanic menu.
Service Needs Help. I really enjoy the food when you can get seated and actually order. You must prompt to get refills or more chips. When the owner spends time telling customers he is moving to expand, he might reconsider.
