WONDERFUL. I was very impressed that as late as we went, they were still bringing out hot fresh food. Everything was absolutely delicious. I really can’t say enough about this place. We spent $18 and had salad, dinner and dessert. Very good! It’s true southern food, nothing frozen! Don’t hesitate …just go.
It was close to closing time but all the staff were friendly.The food was delicious. I loved the squash and cornbread. Good southern homestyle cooking. Trust me — these people know how to cook.
I miss Martha’s from when it was downtown– but wow have they moved UP!! The buffet style restaurant is wonderful!!! Pay as you enter ~$9 and try to show some self control!! Excellent home cooked vegetables and great selections of entrees with the best fried chicken ever. The salad table has a modest selection of salad greens and cold salads–the wait staff will bring you drink and dessert. The blackberry cobbler last week was the best–not too sweet and the crust was like my grandmother’s. Read Martha’s inspiring story on the walls. She’s a Montgomery treasure!!
Martha’s Place. Best food ever so clean and nice, each and everyone was wonderful. We came on Friday and Fish and chicken was out of this world. Really enjoyed Martha’s Place. Food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the environment was family-friendly and extremely pleasant.
Consistently good. Best buffett style restaurant in Montgomery. The dishes on the hotline are kept really hot, not luke warm, and are replaced early and often. The porkchop casserole and the liver in gravy are real standouts, not like anything available elsewhere. The roast turkey is served in clean, boneless, meaty pieces, separated into light and dark meat so you can chose what you prefer. The menu changes daily on a rotating basis. Turkey on Sunday and Thursday, porkchop casserole on Tuesday.
Delicious! Got my haircut at d’Markos and was looking for something to eat afterwards when I saw Martha’s Place. Tried it, loved it!
