We went there for dinner and waited for 20 minutes to put our name on the list, and had people walk in after us and just cut in front. Management did nothing and allowed it to happen. We will never go back after being treated that way. Food isn’t that great either.
Squid Salad. Tangy, tender, chopped squid with chopped veggies and excellent dressing.
Our Go-To Place for Sushi. We frequent Miyako for sushi. No, it’s not going to be authentic fresh-from-the-ocean, but what it does have are some of the most delicious, crazy-looking rolls that pack in a ton of fried stuff and seafood. And sometimes, that is exactly what you need from an inland restaurant. As a side note, we don’t go for the teppanyaki because, no matter where you go, it’s overpriced and annoying. Our favorites are the Miyako Special Roll and the Daniel Special Roll. Throw in one of their rolls of the day and you have dinner for two for under $30. The waitress on the sushi side is always friendly and remembers repeat customers. We’ve never had a bad experience at Miyako.
