I don’t get the hype. The ribs I ordered were overcooked and the other meats did not look appetizing. The again, I’ve heard the fried chicken is very good, but it wasn’t available when I went, as was the case with several of the other entrees. I will say, though, that the candied yams were excellent.

We found Mr. B’s on the internet and with the recommendation of a friend. It was a great experience. The food and atmosphere were terrific. I had a BBQ pork chop fried, green tomatoes, collards, and corn bread. Everything was great but the fried green tomatoes were particularly good. The portions were huge, and the service was really welcoming and friendly. I’ll go there every time I am in Montgomery.

Great!!!!. The food was absolutely awesome. Went there for breakfast and I had a stack of pancakes grits and scrambled eggs. The staff was very nice and attentive. The exterior represents what an old school southern eatery might look like and the interior was clean. Definitely a place that I would visit again and recommend to others..

I really wanted to like this place!. Cute & clean interior, and most of the people working were friendly. We had fried chicken (wonderful!), Salisbury steak (good), and baked chicken (crazy salty). The sides (the part I was most looking forward to) were disappointing. The greens were bland and the Mac and cheese left a lot to be desired. The cornbread was dry, and the tea was weak. If you’re looking for a quick lunch and really craving fried chicken, I would recommend this place, but if you’re looking for good sides, I’d look elsewhere.

This is a great family restaurant. The serviceis excellent and fast. Plus for under $10 I can feed me and my son. I love the fact that this is the same food I grew up on and they have brought a piece of my grandmother back to me. Thanks Mrs. B’s I really enjoy your place everytime I come. God bless

Delicious home cooked southern comfort food. We stopped through on our way back from Florida heading home to Memphis, TN and enjoyed heaping servings of fresh collard greens, candied yams, baked beans, and perfectly moist stuffing. I highly recommend the ox tail and greens. Service was fast and friendly. There were several different options of meats and vegetables to choose from. Being from Memphis we know good comfort food and Mrs. B’s hit the mark. Mr. B himself courteously welcomed us, shook our hands, and thanked us. I will definitely be returning to Mrs. B’s next time I am in Montgomery.
