Delicious. Service was surprisingly Montgomery-ish (as in poor attitude = poor service) but the food was fantastic. I will go back again and hopefully the waitress is in a better mood next time. 😛
Eh, Whatever.. If you just like edible food for a cheap price, this is it. There is nothing special about it. It’s okay at best. Not anything to rant and rave about. No where near the best in the area.
Good, cheap, Southeasternized Mexican. My wife and I ate here for lunch today and had the fastest service ever. Actually, it was probably some sort of record. We ordered at 1:05 and our food arrived at 1:12. The chips were the freshest I’ve had and the waiter attributed this to the fact that the new chef doesn’t drink like the last one (he could have been joking but who knows). The service was amazing, and the workers were very friendly. Now for the food. For those of you seeking Tex-Mex like they have out west, save yourself a trip and the writing of a negative review. What you will get is tasty, unhealthy, yet filling Gump-Mex. The food is always flavorful and there are a wide variety of choices to meet most people’s needs. Sit down and order a bowl of cheese dip to go with your chips and salsa, and then move on to a Gump-Mex quesadilla, burrito, or chile con carne. Keep the expectations average, the wallet full, and you will enjoy your meal.
Great Mexican Food. For what I know of Mexican food, however Americanized my tastes may be, I just love this restaurant. I never have a bad experience with service, quite the opposite actually and the atmosphere always feels jovial and friendly.
Please Disregard the Previous Poster. To say that the best mexican restaurant in the world lies in Montgomery, Alabama should speak for itself. As you may suspect, this is just another montgomery mexican place with nothing special to offer. Please see my reviews for places in the area that are closer to what you would expect in Mexico, Texas, and California, instead of what you would expect to find in a toilet after a rave.
