AWESOME!!!. I went to Satsuki for dinner on the last night of this particular visit to Montgomery. I ordered the Sashimi Special which was some of the freshest fish I have every eaten. It was absolutely delicious. As it was early, and the fact that simple fish protein won’t keep me full for long, I decided to order an entre to go. I chose the Eel and rice bowl. Oh my goodness, this was the best. I will definitely make this a regular stop each t8me I visit Montgomery.
Waiters were friendly, prompt, and very informational about their food! Our sushi was brought out within 5 minutes of ordering and was not only delicious, but also aesthetically pleasing! Food was also brought quite fast, it was hot, and it was very delicious. Overall, we will definitely be coming back soon! I was overly impressed with the service, atmosphere, and food!
Very disappointed since review was 90%. Salmon hand roll was ruined with Korean style hot source. Salmon itself was fine but combined with this source made the whole roll not so tasty. Fresh spring roll were full of noodles and didn’t have much other stuff in it.
They have a wide array of food. Not just sushi. Very awesome food. A must go to26 Nov, 2012Da Bomb!!!!!!
A tasty meal.. The veggie sushi is great and the Tonkatsu is the best in town. Service is always good and food comes quickly.
I can honestly say this is the best sushi restaurant in Montgomery. Their dumplings and tempura appetizers are delicious as well. The green tea and red bean ice creams are a nice change from your typical dessert choices. Unfortunately I can’t comment on anything else on the menu because if I’m eating there I’m eating their fabulous sushi!
On this sad March day, my girlfriend and I attempted to enjoy some indian fare in the gump. However, despite my Irish heritage, I was not lucky on Patrick’s day. After driving to each of the indian restaurants in town, I have learned both are closed, so I pulled into Satsuki with low expectations. I left with a new favorite place to eat. This place has great customer service and attention to detail. The entree that my girlfriend had was great (chicken katsu). The sushi I ordered was great (spicy Tokyo roll and special California roll), and the chef offered us two free pieces of premium sushi which were fantastic. For dessert we had what tasted like homemade mango ice cream which was out of this world. Also, we were brought an unsolicited carved orange with toothpicks. The attention to detail at this place was fantastic. I cannot recommend this place enough! Go here!
