Small portions and shrimp was not deveined. My 15 dollar seafood platter had 3 shrimp, 3 oysters, 1 piece of fish, 1crab and 2 hush puppies. The other 3 people at my table ordered the 12 dollar fried shrimp. None of the shrimp on any of the plates was deveined. For these prices I expect my shrimp to be cleaned and deveined. First timer. No the service isn’t fast, but would you trust super fast service for seafood. Overall good experience. The problem that plagues service here is rude and inconsiderate customers. Go to McDonald’s if you want in/out service for lunch, otherwise sit down and relax.
Save your money. Small portions and terrible service. Food was not really very good either. I was really disappointed as I had hoped for so much better.
Shrimp basket montgomery, al. If you want fast, friendly service go somewhere else. In fact, if you want service at all; go somewhere else. My family and I walked in and was immediately seated, then waited 20 minutes and left. No one came to take our drink orders, appetizers or anything. We watched while other tables that came in after us got served and one even had appetizers brought out while we sat there waiting. Spend your money else where that wants your business.
Not worth it. We have eaten at various Shrimp Basket restaurants, so we were looking forward to Montgomery having one. We won’t be back. Our order was messed up, and we had to wait over half an hour for the order to even arrive. The food was okay, but it wasn’t great. The service wasn’t good, either.
Food was overrated and the service wasn’t great. To make matters worse a guy waiting to checkout was upset about how long he had been waiting.
Bad food and worse service. So I had recently eaten at another Shrimp Basket and was excited to see the one in Montgomery. Except that when I got there, to order no one came up to seat you or help you. When I asked someone for help, they replied in a way that seemed like none of them wanted to work there and hated being there and I was being an inconvenience by being there. I thought whatever at least the food will be good. So I try the food out and thought to myself I should have just gone to McDonald and had a better meal. For people reading, if the other reviews and the 57% rating does not convince you to stay away from this place, then go and throw your money at them.
