Went here on a whim and it may be the best food we've had in the area. We had the ribeye and the wasabi crusted tuna. The food was amazing. The servic…

This is a fun place to hang out and listen to music. The atmosphere is great. We also found the service to bevery prompt and friendly. Even though we went early in the evening, some items on the menu were already sold out for the day. The tuna dip that we ordered was unusually spicy — to the point that we could hardly eat it. We also found the fish tacos tobe extremely hotwith no other flavors coming through, just HEAT. The one dish that showed some promise was the Greek nachos. While the nachos weregreasy, I liked the flavors and the concept of this dish. The feta cream sauce was quite good.
Awesome dive bar that’s been around for YEARS… Starting going here 20+ years ago. Lots of little additions have been built- rebuilt over time due to hurricanes. Accessible via beach or street. Would I hang out here with my kids? Nope. Are you expecting swanky high end service/ surroundings ? Don’t go. Are you looking for a funky good time , great music and strong ass cocktails ? DEFINITELY GO! You may just leave without your bra and with lots of funny memories with your friends!
Great place to relax on your boat and drink bushwachers! Be warned, their bushwhackers are STRONG! Limit yourself to two. They also have live music
We went there for an early dinner. Views lovely, very casual ambiance, nice music. This was during the shrimp festival, one of the nicest times to be here. They did not have several of the offerings on the menu. The service, sadly, was pretty lousy for an early (6pm) dinner. The tuna dip tasted old and stale, the fried green tomatoes were supposed to have crab on them, rather just buried in queso dip. The fried seafood was totally ruined by the heavy salty coating, you could not taste shrimp nor oyster cloaked in that stuff. For two adults, only 2 beers and two apps and two dinners, a whopping 117. Spend your dollars elsewherefor a much nicer dining experience. Go therefor a beer and some fries.
Grilled Mahi Mahi consisted of about a dozen chicken finger sized pieces of fish which of course means the meat was dry as a bone. They must of been fileting guppies that day. Waitress did tell the manager who was very accommodating. Nice atmosphere but nothing special. It’s the beach, not fine dining.
The Yacht Club has become my favorite place to eat and enjoy a few drinks. The service has always been great and the food is delicious. Best steak I’ve had in a long time! Everything I’ve tried has been great and the Sunday brunch never disappoints. I like that it’s family friendly, boat friendly, come as you are…dressed up or down. I would highly recommend to anyone. Great food & friendly service on the beach 🙂
New Year’s Eve. Just got back from the New Year’s eve tasting menu. Everything was wonderful. Each dish was perfectly prepared and very well presented. The wait staff was excellent. We can hardly wait for Valentine’s day in hope of another occasion like this. Keep up the good work.
