This is an OK catfish restaurant. I had whole catfish with coleslaw, hush puppies and fries. My wife had fried shrimp, coleslaw, hush puppies and a baked potato. The sides were good. The fish and shrimp were okay. Service was also just okay.
Ezell’s in Phenix City has the best cole slaw and hushpuppies I’ve ever had. The whole catfish was really good as well. Service was attentive without being bothersome.
I have enjoyed the food every time I have been. The atmosphere is nice and the staff of good also. We will be going again. Last time, we took friends and they absolutely loved the food.
We just wanted to come in to enjoy our meal but was unable to do so because of the uncontrollable loud noise coming from the table beside us. If you’re going to have such large parties, please be considerate of your other customers by placing the large parties in a separate room. We could barely talk between ourselves – all we could do was eat & get out so I couldn’t tell you if the food was good or not. Not sure I will return
