  #Cowabungosucksinprattville#neveragain!I will never order nor eat from Cowabungo in Prattville Al again! We are frequent customers. Last night we had a knock on the door and it was a delivery from them and we told them that we did not order food several times but the guy called out the name and address which was our name and address and said the food was already paid for and to keep the food. We called a few places that we thought maybe someone would order us some food because my daughter-in-law is pregnant and we do like Cowabungo however we had literally just finished eating. We looked at the numbers because it was paid with a credit card and all the numbers were blocked out except for the last four and we was not sure if that card was just kept on file and of course it should had not have been. We no longer had the card so we couldn’t compare them so we called Cowabungo back and asked for the number to who ordered the food in which they gave it to us. At that point we called the number and the lady answered and she lives up the street so we explained the situation and she was very upset but not at us and said that she did not want the food after we asked her did she want us to walk it down there she said no. We threw the food in the trash because we don’t eat thousand island or onions. An hour later the cops were knocking at our door and threatened to arrest us. The driver lied and said that we took the food and never told him that it was not ours which was very false. We proceeded to show the police the receipt that we had which had our address and our name on it and we explained that we thought maybe it was an old credit card and we also showed prove to where we tried not to keep the food and called the place to get the number of the people and we showed them proof where we actually called the people whose food it belong to. The police knew at that moment that the driver was lying and that they had messed up because if we were intentionally trying to take someone’s food why would we call the place and call the number they gave us that ordered the food and let them know we had the food. The police stated that it was a misunderstanding and that they believe that Cowabungo just did not want to take responsibility for their driver messing up. With the cops there we called Cowabungo back with them on speakerphone and they tried to blame it on the neighbors whose food it was and said that we did not call and try to give the food back and the cops knew that was a lie and to the neighbors they tried to blame it on us and say that we just stole their food so the cops busted them in a lie. However the thing that makes me mad is we still had to pay for the food because they replaced the neighbor’s food and said someone had to pay for the other meal because in fact it was her credit card that paid for the food not ours it was just all of our other information and we got stuck paying for a meal that we didn’t order and that we tried to give back and that we had to throw in the trash and that we proved that we tried not to take it. I mean is it that hard to just say my driver messed up and we apologize. After talking to another manager they still tried to act like it was our fault and the driver still lied even though we had proof and showed them in person after going up there with our call logs and they were very rude but then again tried to blame it all on our neighbors and said the neighbors are the ones who called and wanted to get us in trouble but that was not the case because we talked to our neighbors again today. They just wont acknowledge they made a mistake. Someone must have not been doing their job correctly and just pulled up that name and our street and figured it was the same people who always order which it was not and put in our information or just used our information that was already in there but thats not our fault. Its not about the money we had to pay but their nasty attitudes, lies, and the way we were treated. The driver must be a husband or brother or somebody in the family for them to take it to this extreme while seeing proof positive in their face so never again will we ever order anything from them again!!

  I ordered a 16 oz ribeye! It was really good! The potato was hot and the salad was excellent. I love that they deliver! Awesome place! Great service!

  I had large rib eye cooked medium rare with baked potato and it was real good. I ate in, only two tables. This is stake out joint but u are my steak with a plastic fork and knife. Steak was tender and seasoned good.
