El Patron. Not impressed food was very salty few lettuce and tomatoes, the enchillada sauce tasted like ketchup with some spices, margharitas were below par weak and too sweet, wont come back again, would rather go to taco Bell

Pleasant Surprise. Mexican food may be my favorite and I’ve eaten it in the US from Florida to Oregon, and outside the US from Luxembourg to Cancun. El Patron in little ol’ Prattville is among the best. The combination of authentic food choices, nice atmosphere, and service put it at the top of my list.
Did not like it. Taco salad had no lettuce. Refried beans awful
Ate here for the first time. Very disappointed in the chips. They are heavy like cardboard. We ordered the fajitas for two with chicken steak and shrimp. They were very good
I am originally from San Antonio Texas. El Patron passes my test and gets a big, enthusiastic rubber stamp of approval. That is all the feedback you need to hear. When a Texan says its approved, case closed.
Great lunch. The bright, colorful exterior caught my eye and I pulled to try them out for lunch. The place is big and festively decorated with high ceilings and divided dining areas, but it’s not gawdy or tacky. Service was fast and efficient. The chips and salsa were very good. I chose Tacos Carnitas for my meal–something I had not seen on a menu before. These were 4 nice sized tacos, filled with tender marinated pork carnitas and salsa verde and pico for toppings, along with rice and beans. Everything was hot, fresh and tasted great. Two thumbs up!
