We stopped here on our way back from Beach and the Food was really good and not to bad prices for a good sit down meal. Would definitely go back!!!
Visited with family, including 2 kids. Wait for our food was way longer than it should have been. Most disappointing was my soup and salad – very small salad and about a half of a cup of brunswick stew for $8.25. Really? Up that portion to a bowl or lower the price, people. Hubby’s bbq was full of fat, too. Not what we experienced there in the past, might not be back in the future because of it.
I had the 1/4 chicken and my husband had the Pit Master Platter the Meat was great so were the Beans not a fan of the Mac & Cheese the portions were good for the price .Would eat there again for sure. There Baked Potatoes are delicious you can get a Plain one with Butter and Sour Cream or Loaded with Your Choice of Meat those are a meal in themselves..Just an FYI they use a Carolina Style Sauce Heavy on the Vinegar they have a White Sauce if you have never had it the White Sauce it not actually White that was new to me .It wasn’t bad but I’m a Kansas Transplant and love the Kansas City Style Sauce it’s what I grew up eating .
The ribs and mac and cheese I was served last week was really over-salted – and I like some salt. I could not finish either. The manager here needs to taste the food occassionally. Until I hear the salt excesses are gone I will not be back.
Review of Birthday Celebration. My Daughter hosted a surprise 70th birthday party at Jim and Nick’s BBQ in Prattville, AL, Saturday, January 24, 2015. Our servers, Amber and Michael, met the entire party with smiling faces and hugs, and went above and beyond expectations to ensure every guest enjoyed the food and fellowship. In addition, they made sure that each guest went home with some birthday cake. Your restaurant is very fortunate to have such gracious and caring employees. Please consider a monetary bonus for these two employees for their commendable service. In addition to Amber and Michael, my daughter tells me Jay, a manager, Torrie Bates the cook, and Chris should also be added to the list to thank. I do appreciate all the special attention everyone from your staff offered to make this my best birthday ever!!
