Didn’t even sit down. Walked in with my husband and looked around for a few minutes, then walked right back out and went somewhere else. I am married to a true Irishman, and this place just felt like a yuppie college bar. Complete disgrace to the Irish.

Just yummy food. Good People.24 Apr, 2013This place bites.14 Apr, 2013Ate from the New Mexican menu, the fish and brisket tacos are great, we also liked the cheese dip. Skip the carnitas taco and the donuts with chocolate too.
Accurately Irish. The Red Shamrock was all in all a good dining experience. I had a chicken sandwich on a pretzel bun, with perfectly seasoned waffle fries. They were delicious. The food was great, however I believe the service could have been better. The waiter we had was terrible. He was very rude. I was extremely surprised to have such an awful server while knowing the owners quite well and doubting that my server would be chosen so badly by the wonderful owners. If they had more helpers and cooks, i believe this would also greatly improve the service because it was a bit slow and the people working looked stressed to be in such a highly populated restaurant working by themselves. Although the service was not that great, I would rate The Red Shamrock as a 3 out of five stars. However, if the service was improved, The Red Shamrock would be a great place to relax, watch some football from one of their million TV’s, and eat some wonderful food.
Small town pub.. Yes, it is a nice place for a beer occasionally. We had a small lunch and watched the Alabama game a few weeks ago on all of the many televisions. In the summer months you can sit outside in front with a big tv on the sidewalk. I had fish and chips and they were very good. Malt vinegar on the table is a great thing. The waffle fries were not greasy and we had attentive service.
A waste of space. Food was frozen or processed. Tasted like they ran to the grocery store and grab things out of the freezer and deli, put a menu together, and expected you to like it. Bartender was our waitress and struggled to get to our table because there were 3 people at the bar, cmon man! Checked my bank account a few days later and they bumped the amount I specified also (did leave an average tip, no stiff job). Below average on all accounts. Mt. Laurel, anyplace for that matter deserves better than this.
Great pub, and I actually liked their appetizers (even though they tend to be a little heavy like most bar food :)). I did really like the burger as they have a really cool variation with a pretzel bun… Delicious!
