3000 bar is the place to go with your girl friends or guy friends . It is not a LOUNGE . This nonsense about the lady and the receipt is bull crap, just people trying to bring a good business down. The workers are cool and the owner takes care of everyone. The bar rules are clear and recommends you not start a tab for just one 3$ drink. That woman has come in the bar numerous times and would just sit at the bar and not order anything and harassed the workers . The owner didn’t like that, he called the police himself to get her out of the bar. Hopefully she was banned because she made everything awkward. I love 3000 bar and so does everyone else . Let the crowd show u, not these reviews because its packed everyday of the week. Uts a place to be social because its small u have to get to know everyone . If thats not your type of crowd, being in a small area with people drinking and socializing . …. Stay at home or go to Applebee’s and drink alone . Ive been in Alabama 3 months now and I must say I’ve met some pretty amazing people at this bar! Keep it up !
Out of control owner. I was with friends at the 3000 bar the other evening and the owner went off on a lady that had asked for her receipt. The owner was so out of control that the police had to come just to get a receipt for the poor lady. Strange why a business owner would not want to provide a receipt. I paid with cash. Too afraid to give that business my credit card. I would not suggest anyone go to that place.
When i read the reviews before i went, i kinda got nervous… my girlfriends and i decided to go anyways. we went for the first time last weekend. Nice chill spot. I don’t drink daiquiris but the drinks the bartender made me were fantastic! She took the time to ask what kind of taste I want. The manager at the door directed me and my friends to sit in VIP. Friendly staff. I booked my birthday party there for next month! Don’t believe all the bad things. I didn’t and I got a great experience
Don’t waste your money This…. Don’t waste your moneyThis is the worst bar that I have ever walked into. The staff is rude like they are bothered to serve you. Please go somewhere that needs your business. There are a lot of bars on the southside and I will be spending my money at other bars, but never will I give this bar another dime.
This bar is absolutely horrible. It’s a club for kids. I went during the week during the day very laid back bartender was very helpful. Went back on a night after 8 bartenders were extremely rude. One girl just sat there the entire time on her phone. I wi never go back again
Trey is awesome. He makes 3000 bar what it is. In immortal words of Yoda, drink or do not, there is no try. Go to 3000 Bar you will. Say hey to Trey and he will smile for free.
Great Barstaff & spot to chill. Went on a Saturday night. Bartenders were helpful when I was indecisive about my choice of drink. They sat and talked to me like they’ve known me. Always helped in a timely manner. Having used to bartend, I know it gets crazy. So when you people get upset about service, remember that you’re not the only one in the bar. As far as how strong the 190 Octane is: there’s different laws regarding alcohol content in every different city/state…. Overall: great place to chill and meet friends.
