Das Haus must be German for cluster. On two visits to this place I still can’t figure out how it works. Despite the fact that it’s a restaurant, the only menus are two that are taped to the bar which you can’t see if someone is sitting in front if them. When we asked the bartender on a Friday night about the food, he said they had a limited menu of bratwurst, knockwurst, potatoes and rolls. Not having a description or knowing the price of anything, we just ordered a brat and some potatoes. The food was acceptable but it was served with plastic knives and forks. While we were eating, we noticed the bartender take another diner a cup of mustard that he had scooped out of an industrial sized container that had been sitting opened for at least 30 minutes on a table in the dining room. This place is in a convenient location and could be good. Hopefully they’ll get their act together.
