Don’t eat the chicken salad!. I met a friend at George’s Boxcar Cafe for lunch. I order the chicken salad sandwich with pita chips. The chicken salad was absolutely disgusting. It was runny, HUGE chunks of celery, the bread was tough, and none of the ingredients stayed in the sandwich when I picked it up the first time.I’ve eaten a lot of chicken salad, and this way by far the worse chicken salad ever. I expected at better since this was a George Sarris restaurant. I can’t speak for any other food, but don’t get the chicken salad!
My husband and I had lunch there today. The taco salad is HUGE and delicious. The pita chips are my favorite chips ever and the hummus was flavorful. My husband’s burger was thick and juicy. We will definitely be back!!!
It was supposed to say mezzo platter however auto correct didn’t like it.16 Oct, 2012Usually good however on my last visit I ordered a mestizo plater and received only humus and pita chips with a couple olives and zero cheese. I could have purchased a humus app for half the price and received the same thing.
