Best place to be after 4 AM
Pathetic Staff. The cheeseburgers are great…if you are lucky enough to actually receive one after you order it. I went to Marty’s last night only because I craved a good cheeseburger. I ordered two cheeseburgers for me and a friend as soon as I got there. It wasn’t terribly crowded at the time. I paid for my cheeseburgers, and the bartenders told me it would take about 45 minutes. After about an hour I ask about my cheeseburgers. These douchebag bartenders tell me that they don’t recall ever taking my order. I was pissed off to say the least. I figured out that they probably gave them to a different table. It would be a good idea if they actually take your name when you order, instead of trying just to remember what somebody looks like. Whatever, it they apologized and offered to give us our cheeseburgers as soon as they could, I would have been okay with that. Mistakes happen. But no, they basically talk to me like I’m the drunk idiot who can’t remember if I ordered a cheeseburger or not. I was very pissed at this point because these losers were so rude. I spent around $16 for burgers we didn’t get to eat. Never again will I go to this place. Pathetic.
I have played at Martys over 50 times over the last 6-7 years. Try the hamburger!!!
The Best Burger in Birmingham after 11pm. This is a neighborhood bar that serves the best hamburger in town (as voted in the Birmingham News). The hamburger is wonderful but no fries…just potato chips.
