Love this place. It is in my rotation of favorite lunch spots near work. The workers there are very friendly, and they know how to top a hot dog. I typically stick with the hot beef dogs and am always satisfied. Now if only Golden Flake would start filling their dang chip bags all the way…Great place! AND Fountain Mountain Dew! *Cue Hallelujah Chorus*
Wonderful place to eat!!. Scott’s is great! The chili is out of this world good. Service is A+ Try it you won’t be dissappointed.
Birmingham has zillions of hot dog joints but if you are on Southside especially near Kirklin Clinic–you gotta go to Scott’s. They were forced to move fromthe second block of 20th St S and the move has been good for them– park in the deck and get your ticket stamped when u order so your park is free. I live the all-beef dog with chili and slaw. A chili-slaw dog and a bag of chips makes a great lunch. They also have diet Mountain Dew–a wonderful suprise at a sandwich place. The breakfasts are great if you are on the run in the morning. They are friendly and quick. The taco and griiled chicken salads are great. If u work in the area you’ll get to be a regular–I promise.
