Just awful! If you are from the South and can’t cook decent soul food don’t do it! Go to Niki’s or Ted’s instead for some great soul food!!@
Love this place! Stopped while traveling and really enjoyed our dinner!! The cheeseburger was amazing and I loved the chicken sandwich!! The staff was super friendly and provided excellent service!! We will definitely come back! Thanks for a great dinner Sweet Tea…. Job well done!!
First time in months I have been to Sweet Tea. Shrimp and Grits was good. Jalapeo Corn Bread not as delicious as previous visit. Bread is under heat lamps and is hard but not hot. Couldn’t wait to leave to write this review because the staff are screaming at each other so loudly it is ridiculous. It started in the line when the server screened at the cook. Then she repeatedly stated she is not working the evening shift EVER again! There are more employees than customers right now which is a good thing. But the unprofessional behavior is out of hand. Several other diners have made eye contact with me and just shook their heads. it’s like middle school where everyone is trying to be the center of attention. I realize I am not in a fine dining establishment but adults should know diners should not hear these conversations. Dinner time is time to be enjoyed without conflict. I can only wonder what their dinner tables are like. Never again for me.
Went on a Sunday with my son and it was good, like that your able to bring let overs home which is unusually for that type of restaurants. This resturant is similar to Nikki’s West, sweet tea was really good.
Standard Cafeteria Fare. It’s convenient to bustling areas of downtown for when you want a 4 square. The taste and selection is a throwback to southern cafeterias of yesteryear.
My fish was dry, the broccoli casserole was not great and the food wasn’t hot. We went about 7p.m so maybe that’s why it wasn’t that great. The spaghetti was good and my husband had the greens and lasagna he said it was good.
