This place has the best beer selection in town and the food is very good as well! This place helped me branch out from sipping Michelob Ultras to beers such as Good People’s Coffee Stout. One of my favorite parts about going here was to try something new that I had never heard of before. Service is the only thing lacking here. Very hit or miss but for the most part service was fine.

Love this place. The atmosphere feels like a pub I used to go to in London and the beer selection is great. I haven’t eaten anything bad here but my favorites are the Gus burger, fish and chips, and the hummus plate. I had the biergarten spaghetti last night which was roasted spaghetti squash with various other roasted vegetables and it was so filling, great rich taste. This place screams comfort food. I almost forgot! The fatso pudding is a must!

I like how the beers are organized on the menu. They are organized my flavorProfile rather than just a list. This is great for people who want to try new beers but don’t want to just pick a random name off a list. Each menu item also comes with a suggested beer pairing. Unfortunately the service here is notoriously rude and the food is very mediocre.

First Game Day at J. Clyde. My husband and I had such a great time today at The J. Clyde! We don’t have cable, so hubby wanted to find somewhere to watch Auburn, while I wanted to see Alabama’s game. We got to the bar around 3:30 and had a perfect view of both TVs, and they were also playing UA’s game on the big screen on the back patio. We started with an order of duck fat popcorn with parmesan cheese and bacon crumbles–it sounds weird, but was SOOO good. And for $4, it was fun trying something new! We ordered two plates of smoked wings…I had Bama Wings (served with a white bbq sauce and a bourbon bbq sauce) and hubs got Blazer Wings (served with spicy honey mustard sauce and green chills). The wings were amazing…the meat fell off the bone, was well seasoned, and all of the sauces were spectacular. Also, all Alabama brewed draught beers were 1/2 off during the game, so we got to try 4 new breweries! The staff at J. Clyde is also very helpful (Shout-out to Amanda!). Due to a misunderstanding of the menu, my husband thought that the wings were 1/2 off as well…when the manager learned this, she comped one of our orders! She totally didn’t have to do that, since it was our mistake, but I thought that was a really cool thing to do. Another customer had a small complaint about his beer and they gave him another, no charge. It seems like they are serious about providing quality service, and will make sure their customers feel taken care of.We will definitely be back later this football season. Nice people, great food, and good beer…what else can you ask for?

Used to be regular customer. Me and my friends always used to go there because of good selection of beer and good food . Great staff and great service but over priced food and over priced alcohol still no problem. But it takes 30 to 40 min to get food but not the worth the time and price . I always order burger or fish and chips the burger meat always cold the fries feel like been cooked 3 to 4 hours ago . There food feel like overpriced McDonald food.

This was probably the worst dinner experience I’ve ever had. The food was terrible and took a hour and half until we received our meal. This place is suppose to have a decent beer menu and yes they do. Unfortunately only half of what’s on the menu, they actually have.
