  My skin has never looked better…..Never been to a wing place quite like this one. You order the heat level/flavor of the wings, but the wings aren’t tossed in any kind of sauce. Instead they give you a little cup of sauce that matches your flavor/heat choice and you dip your wings in it. Or maybe you pour it over the wings? I don’t know but I’d prefer them to be tossed in the sauce like other wing joints do.No one offered me any Ranch or Blue Cheese dressing. After I ate a couple of wings dipped in the sauce I went and asked for some ranch dressing. That dressing is pretty special: take about 3 cups of better than average ranch dressing and add a cup of salt to it. Maybe a cup and a half. It’s completely inedible but I bet it makes a fantastic exfoliating facial scrub. If the wing sauce could double as a moisturizer they’d have a great beauty business. Maybe they should go for that since they don’t do a very good job with food.

  WoW is right, in the wrong way.. I don’t know what made UAB think they could run a franchise restaurant like this but the food is horrible. Granted I’m not a UAB student and I am not forced to eat there, but I like to try places I’ve never had before. The fries were over salted and slightly stale, so they had been sitting under a heat lamp for hours I’m sure. The burger was pathetic at best, no seasoning what so ever. They need to instruct their workers on how to properly use salt and pepper, but then again there is not much you can do to fix frozen hamburger patties that are about as thin as cardboard. Overall I won’t be returning and I feel sorry for the UAB students who are forced to eat here due to limited choices.

  WOW this place sucks!. Wow Cafe is okay. I wouldn’t suggest it to anyone that isn’t a student at UAB that is forced to have meal plans or dining dollars. The workers at the cash register are extremely rude. They refuse to make eye contact, smile, greet you pleasantly, or even respond to you when you thank them. Customer service is completely lacking at this establishment. Sadly, it is the best dining option available to students ever since the HUC cafe was closed. UAB took away any decent dining options, and stuck us with this complete joke of a restaurant. The AL.com review said this cafe was speedy. Well, they are definitely mistaken. It can take over 30 minutes just to receive a simple appetizer. There is not a well defined area to wait for food. Their number system is laughable, as they provide holders on the table for the plastic number cards, yet you must get your food yourself from the screechingly obnoxious woman at the front counter. I would not reccomend eating at the cafe itself, as she is so loud that she gives me a migraine just waiting on my food for take-out. As for the food, it is insanely overpriced. Their burgers are subpar and miniscule. The only decent entree at WOW is the chicken tenders. Even a tiny container of ranch is 75 cents, as the worker with the short bob rudely informed me and then walked away when I asked if I could have ranch to accompany my $6.99 cheese fries that strangely come with sour cream. She didn’t even offer to swap my sour cream for the ranch that I preferred. Overall, eat here if you have meal plans/dining dollars, as the other options of the diner or the commons are even more horrible. But good luck and don’t expect an ounce of customer service.
