Nothing but yummmmm comes to mind first. I am in LOVE with the gluten free options. The chicken and waffles are to die for. The special syrup needs to be bottled and sold so I can eat it more! The staff remember you and are very friendly. I’m so excited that we have a restaurant like this in Birmingham!
Yo’ Mama’s truly lives up to its name, bringing you fabulous homestyle cooking with a modern twist. If you are counting calories (which you shouldn’t be if you’re in Birmingham), the soul of your hot wings and fries might be just a little too much, so they do have lighter options. If you go, don’t miss their daily specials, because they are often very different from the menu’s staples.
Good Food. Good Service. Visited today with my family for Saturday Brunch. Ordered the Chicken & Waffle, Chicken & Pancakes, & 2-egg Omelette. Had the Homemade Lemonade & Homemade Tropical Splash to drink.The Homemade Syrup is awesome according to my oldest daughter. We all agree with her assessment.
Horrible with false reviews. The food was horrible. I went based on the reviews mentioned and clearly these are family or friend reviews. The chicken wasn’t cooked well and its over priced.
This food is amazing! I have Crohn’s and have a hard time eating out because a gluten restriction. It was so nice to have an entire gluten free meal that did not sacrifice flavor. I highly recommend the food and the staff is so nice!
Great food, quality and flavor. My fish tacos were excellent…full of flavor in every bite. Left me full, yet wanting more because it was delicious. My boyfriend loved the chicken and waffle…I didn’t try because he didn’t order it GF, but I washappy to see a GF option for my next visit there to order a GF chicken and waffle. So happy to see a restaurant in Birmingham with plenty of gluten free choices. I will definitely be back
