Goodbye Edgars. I am new to the city and like Edgar’s cupcakes but have been continually unimpressed with the service. A friend mentioned experiencing the same thing and recommended that I try Ashley Mac’s instead because they have better lunch food and that the people are really friendly. My husband, daughter and I went for lunch today and absolutely loved it! The food was great and the customer service was everything you could hope for and then some. The hot ham rolls were delicious, and my husband who is a big strawberry cake fan thought theirs was one of the best ones he’s ever had. We will be back and are looking forward to it!
I am new to the area and normally go to Edgar’s but as I was at Walgreens I decided to give AM a try. The Greek salad had little flavor and I have had better chicken salad from the grocery store. I was disappointed in the food at that price. I may go back and pick up a frozen meal someday and then I’ll rate that. For me, I will go elsewhere for a quick lunch.
Yum. Had a delicious sandwich with apples, balsamic, and turkey – a fresh combination! The chocolate cake (my weakness) was good, too, but a bit dense. Can’t wait to try more of the offerings here!
Great chicken salad. I’m a sucker for chicken salad, and Ashley Mac’s tarragon chicken salad is one of the best of its kind in town. The salads are delicious and fresh, too. As a man, I always feel a bit out of place amongst what otherwise seems to be an all ladies affair, but hey–it’s worth it.
Chicken salad is normally really good, but it seems that it depends on who’s making it that day. I hate to be so picky, but I am. I’m just going to have to start asking who made the chicken salad today? It’s always good, but the last time I had it was horrible ruined my lunch. Haven’t been back since
Seriously the BEST spicy pimento cheese BLT ever! I am so addicted to this place that I drop by at least once a week! Try it out! You will LOVE it!!
Wonderful Food!. I am happy to have Ashley Mac ‘s Cafe around. I visit Ashley Mac in Bluff Park the most often because it is more convenient for me. Pimento Cheese is wonderful: by the spoonful, with crackers, or as a sandwich! I adore the Strawberry Cake…my favorite! I have enjoyed everything I have tried from AshleyMac…
