On a road trip and stopped for a snack at Bojangle’s. Being a first time visitor, I was told the OTHER chicken places back home couldn’t compare to here. It was crispy, fresh, hot (not spicy) and good flavor. Thoroughly enjoyed the sides of cajun rice, fries and that fluffy biscuit. Whenever I drive through, I’ll stop again.

Bojangles Sucks!!!!!!!!. One, the chicken was old. I went in at 12:23 pm on a Sunday. The mashed potatoes were super dry and the manager got angry when I asked for more gravy. My chicken was just terrible. The crust fell off before they plated it. I will never go back to this place for as long as I live!! Avoid this nightmare. It’s terrible!
They Left Out Half My Order. Chicken tenders. They left out my cole slaw and gravy and sauce didn’t know until got home.
Finally, a chicken joint in hoover/vestavia. I was tired of driving to Pelham or Homewood every time I wanted some chicken. I was at the new Bojangles on opening day. Very few kinks–they’re running things smoothly already. Typical Bojangles fare–dirty rice, chicken (mild or spicy) breakfast all day. They’re taking orders for deep fried turkey (the whole bird) for Thanksgiving right now. I bought one a couple of years ago and it was pretty tasty. one complaint which i hope is temporary: the parking lot smelled like an open sewer. There is construction next door and maybe they hit the pipes or something. The odor was limited to the outdoors, tho; once you were inside everything was fine.
