Love this place. Great fried offeringsand delicious boiled combination plates.Authentic Cajun cuisine at its best .This south Louisiana boy will be back !!
This is our favorite restaurant. We have eaten here many times and the service, food and ambiance is always excellent. The seafood is fresh, portions and prices are generous. I’ve enjoyed the gumbo, oyster po boy, low boil shrimp and the shrimp etouffe is the best I’ve ever eaten.
The shrimp and grouper are especially delicious. All the seafood is very fresh and tasty. The service is quick and good. We enjoy eating there very much.
Great Food, Great Service! Our party was very pleased with the reception that was afforded us. We had a great time. We plan to go there many, many more times on our weekly outings.
I’ve been looking for a good Cajun restaurant in B’ham area. I finally found one. Being from the West Bank of NOLA I miss the food I grew up with. Boiled crawfish were cooked and seasoned perfectly, crawfish bisque creamy with a good amount of crawfish meat and very tasty. The gumbo was the best I’ve had in B’ham and we tried the blackened alligator. It was tender and not over seasoned. Was very impressed. Forget Pappadeaux’s, Cajun Steamer and Crazy Cajun. I’ve tried them all. This Cajun girl will eat here and I’m looking forward to the crawfish boil later this month.
We discovered this restaurant about a month ago and have been several times. It has a very low key, friendly vibe. Not a lot of frills, which is refreshing. The seafood is fresh, portions and prices are generous. I have a list of menu items I look forward to trying and haven’t gone wrong with any choices yet. My daughter is committed to the crab legs and orders every time. I’ve enjoyed the gumbo, oyster po boy, low boil shrimp, and gator. Next up is the cajun seafood pasta, etouffee, stuffed shrimp, red snapper, and sea bass.
Love the crab cakes!! Best in town!!Killan is the best and can make any cocktail you ask for! Best food ever. Come to this place. And you will not be disappointed. And the crawfish is to die for. This is my favorite seafood Resturant in Birmingham.
