Horrible food. I love Chinese food. This was the worst food that I’ve ever had. It was cold and just the overall taste wasn’t good. If you love Chinese food and know what good Chinese food taste like you will be very disappointed if you go here. It’s a waste of time and money.
Excellent Buffet. Everytime I have patronized Chow Town (usually on the weekends) the restaurant has been busy but consistent with their food quality. The variety they offer keeps me coming back for more. As far as service, I rarely have to ask for a refill of my beverage and the used plates are removed from my table during my visit to the buffet. You may have to wait a few minutes after your meal to get your check if they are busy. Overall, I feel that the price lines up with the quality of food and their level of service.
Great buffet with large selection for a good price. Restaurant was clean and waitress was attentive and courteous. Will definitely go back.
Truly disgusting. Rude staff and some of the worst food Ive ever had. I didnt expect much from a buffet but I have never had such a disgusting dinner. The restaurant felt really dirty and there was a loud tv right above our table. They had a sushi bar but everything looked like it had been sitting out for a long time. Im sad iI spent $20 here.

Worst ever!. The absolutely worst dining experience that I’ve ever had in a Chinese restaurant! Awful food, poor service, rude and disrespectful manager, dirty floors, etc. I went there last week for the first time, and it will definitely be my last!Really overpriced–I really wonder how this place stays in business! Too many other good Chinese places in Hoover. Don’t waste your money there!
One of the worst buffets I have ever been to. Save your money and go elsewhere.
