Great list of flavors and don’t be afraid to try the sugar free flavors. They really taste like the regular flavors. The specials are unexpected flavors and generally spectacular.

What’s the fuss?. We have passed by Doodles many times since moving here last year and it is always packed! Tonight we decided to give it a try. My friend had the Heath Bar sorbet and I had the sugar-free lemon ice… we were both pretty disappointed. Mine was bitter and grainy, and my friend’s tasted like a watered down milkshake. I added Splenda to mine and it was improved a little but it left a weird taste and film in my mouth. We just shook our heads. I don’t like to give them a bad review, but honestly it wasn’t worth $3.50 apiece. I hope it was just an off night.

Doodles. I find myself surprised that no one else has taken the time to compliment or review this place. The staff at this place has been nothing but courteous and they always give you samples their flavors. They are not afraid to engage you in common conversation but also give you ideas for mixing flavors. I truly hope that this place is open for a long time, I identify it as a hidden treasure, one of those hole-in-the-wall classics hidden behind another building, that does nothing but deliver satisfaction each time I go. If you are in the area or want to try something new, especially during the hot months, then this sorbet/shaved ice kingdom is worth the journey.
