This is one of my favorite lunch spots. The staff is always friendly and takes care of their regulars. The turkey Reuben is made with sauted cabbage and turkey with Italian dressing and marbled rye. The farm fresh egg sandwich is a BLT with a fried egg on a croissant bun. Both are so freaking good. They are known for their pimento cheese and chicken salad. Both are good. The sweet potato chips you can order as a side or by the bagful. The baked goods are actually very well balanced. While everything looks like it would overly sweet, they manage to find a nice balance of sugar so as not to put you in a sweetness overload.
Desserts!. The desserts here are a must-have, even after I’ve indulged myself with the spicy pimiento cheese and the sweet potato chips! Haven’t had anything yet I haven’t liked, and the atmosphere is always very relaxed.

This place is by far known for its chicken salad. Best ever. Also try the lemon bars!! Love cafe iz!
I’m a big fan. Best sweet potato chips I’ve had. Jalapeo pimento cheese is awesome, and I don’t even care for regular pimento cheese. My only regret is the hot ham and cheese sandwich has had a complete makeover and isn’t worth getting anymore. That was my favorite sandwich:-(
Yummy salad sampler!! Chicken salad superb. Homemade granola & sweet potato chips are my favs!!
