Check your order before you leave. Nothing worse than getting back to work, ready to eat and find that you were given the wrong pizza. Yes, we all make mistakes, but a white pizza vs. chicken, spinach and tomato slices. What really upset me is I called and they immediately knew they had cooked the wrong pizza. Was told that it was in the oven cooking now. Asked if I had time to go back and pick up the right pizza. Since they deliver, I thought they would offer to bring it to me. Nope. Well, I will no longer order from them.
Food is Good, Staff are Friendly, Service is Slooooooow. We enjoy dining at J.B.’s and supporting a Vestavia business. The food is delicious, the staff are friendly (and at times quite indifferent), but please, do something about the slow service! I know that it takes a while to cook the pizzas, but the waiters have a tendency to just forget about you once you have your food. There is no need to make diners wait so long to get their checks. And the last few times we’ve been there almost none of the tables had been bussed. If I want lackadaisical service I could go to the Mellow Mushroom on Southside.
Took a long time to get a pizza and 20 minutes after giving the waiter the check to get it back. Definitely won’t be back.
