Been here. Nothing special
Old, Frozen Premade Food. Was so disappointed that the food did not seem fresh at all. Eggrolls came out still frozen solid in the middle (obviously not fresh), food smelled of old oil.
Have never had a bad meal at Mandarin House. I have been eating here for years. I knew Tony and like other reviewers I have watched as the decor got a bit run down and the place seemed more empty. This past year I have seen renovations inside which is good and most importantly, Jeff and I have never had a bad meal at this restaurant. I have eaten at many other Chinese places and this one continues to be my favorite. About the only complaint I have is occasionally when we have ordered a battered pork or battered chicken dish – there has not been enough meat and too much gristle. However, we eat here many times throughout the year and overall – it is excellent. There is no better won ton soup anywhere – and when I have a cold or flu Jeff always brings it home and it does the trick to make me feel better.
I love eating here. It’s beautiful and quiet. The portion sizes and large and the food is fresh. I will continue to return here as I have not been disappointed.13 Jun, 2014I ate here the same night as Phillip I sat in the booth behind him. From the time he and his wife sat down to the time they finally left they complained. While me and my husband tried to enjoy our meal they put everything about this restaurant down. Their server was also my server and he was wonderful I am positive that their cups never got close to empty as he refilled their drinks 4 to 5 times. And he was nothing but gracious and polite as they continued to bash both the restaurant and their service loudly every time he walked away. I was disgusted with their behavior and if they never stepped foot in another restaurant it would be a service to society. For someone who didn’t like the food they stayed a while and ate everything. I hope I never have the displeasure of eating near these people again and feel sorry for any server stuck with them. Hope they at least tip well.

General chicken was not good. Rice was also hard like it had been microwaved. Will never go back
