I have dined at Mugshots for some years, and I have always enjoyed the experience until very recently. Mugshots recently changed hands, and the change is obvious for all the wrong reasons. This restaurant used to be packed on weekends, and even throughout the week business seemed brisk. No more. Judging by the number of guests at around 7 PM, this restaurant is on life support. I have no complaints with the service as such, but our food was room temp as if it was prepared in advance, or sat in the kitchen for a length of time which was not the case. I have been told the company has been closing stores in Alabama, and it appears this one will be soon. If you have any Local Flavor coupons, I suggest you use them promptly, or not. It’s just a matter of how much money you want to throw away.
