Fabulous. I have been a customer of NYBS for several years. The quality of their meat is unmatched in Birmingham. They also offer huge sandwiches that are out of this world. We also like their hamburgers that are seasoned. I had them smoke a whole brisket for a family get together. Absolutely delicious. The seasoning was spot on and it was very moist. An added bonus is the owner and his crew. Knowledgeable and very friendly. Try them out, you wont be disappointed.

I was expecting a deli. When I walked in I learned it was so much more. They have wine, fresh meats, lots of grab and go items….and then sandwiches. Warning! The sandwiches are HUGE. I was with my son and we were complwtelt filled by just one sandwich. It was top quality bread, meat, cheese, etc and tasted great. Definitley will come back again.
Life Changing Goodness. These sandwiches are as good as they come: fresh, high-quality meat and lots of it! Very filling, feeds a normal person twice and a very hungry extra-large man once. Try them, you won’t regret it.
Totally Awesome. I love New York Butcher Shoppe. First of all everyone is super friendly. The sandwiches are awesome. My favorite is the pulled pork. The food selection in the refrigerators are totally tasty. I purchased a steak for grilling and they gave me seasonings for my steak. Even the desserts rock!!
Sandwiches. I’ve yet to try their steaks but I get a sandwich 2 or 3 times a month. Roast beef, ham, and turkey with muenster cheese and spicy mustard. All sliced fresh and piled onto freshly sliced bread. This is easily the best sandwich in Vestavia/Mountain Brook.Pro tip, order the sandwiches by phone 15 minutes before you’re ready for them. They take a bit to make since the meat is sliced by order only. If you’re wanting lunch, call ahead and order it as you walk out your door.
Amazing Sandwishes. I’m from the east coast and remembering going to NY Deli that had fresh cold cut slicing it in front of you. This is what NY Butcher Shoppe is all about. Cold cuts stacked high with plenty of meat and all the topping you can asked for…..absolutely amazing. I can only eat 1/2 of the sandwich and for $7.99 with chips, I’m completely satisfy. This is not a restaurant, it made to order and take it with you. I will travel 30 min anyday just to get a good sandwich.
