I love, love, love this place. My family started a tradition of eating at Makario’s after the Rocky Horror Picture Show every year, so we were thrilled when they opened up a new branch in Vestavia. The tradition lives on!
We were looking for a place to eat breakfast we drove by the ranch house and the parking lot was packed so we decided to eat there. The breakfast was just good basic breakfast nothing fancy service was very good prices we’re good.
We went on a Sunday to try this place out after reading about it in the city scene. Our water Kevin was great!! Our food was excellent. My only issue was another waitress starting cleaning the floor with strong Lysol while We were eating. Poor etiquette. Clean the floors when people are gone.
Are they open?. I wanted to give it a try, but the phone number was no good. Oh well.
Ranch Slop. Instead of turning into (The House Slop) keep straight! If u value your stomach,money,and relationship with your woman keep straight! Our government needs to send a Drone to bomb (The Dump House). Luke warm food. Mac & Off Brand Cheese. Ice cold cornbread. Dead Steak Burger taste like Sam’s Bottle Water! Grouper taste like fish sticks. Fried Okra crunchy like cracklings. Home cook food out the can! And salad is lifeless!
Breakfast is still consistently good, service still consistently bad.
Poor Management / Customer Service. Don’t get the BBQ chicken. It was as dry as the Sahara Desert…. and more importantly, the owner/manager wouldn’t do anything to correct the issue.
