Visiting my girls in Tuscaloosa today and we tried BurgerFi for lunch. I had a single burger with fries and it was quite good. The bun was super fresh and the fries seemed fresh cut. Overall a good experience.
Went here for lunch today on my way through town so ordered to go. Service was good and there wasn’t a long wait but the food was not worth the price. There was so little sauce on my burger that it only covered half of it and I had to add ketchup because it was too dry. And the fries, they were more like asking for fries with my salt and I almost couldn’t eat them even after drowning them in ketchup. Needless to say if I return I will be very specific about my order to make sure the food is done properly.
I have been to BurgerFi twice now, and neither time has been that great. The first time I went was a couple months ago and it wasn’t anything special, I’ve had better but I’ve had worse. The second time I went was a couple of days ago, and I walked in with a $5 off coupon that was handed out at a basketball game, which come to find out expired this past December (which I’m not even sure they were open at that time). So I paid $25 for 2 burgers, 2 drinks, and 1 fry. We sat down, got our food, took a bite out of it and thought that it was pretty good. I look down to find that both mine and my friends burgers were VERY raw/uncooked. It would’ve been decent if I had not payed $25 for 2 raw burgers and 1 small order or fries. I don’t think that I will be going back again, but I think that if the burgers are cooked it’s worth a try for others.
Best burger place I’ve visited in a long while. Burgers, fries, and onion rings are great! Portions are very large. it’s a great place to take your family and has a pleasant atmosphere. I’ll be there often.
Good but not a great value. A cheeseburger priced at $6.57 should be a two hand burger. The burgers were more like sliders. The decor was nice and plenty of TVs.
The overall experience here was a good one. The service was excellent. Don’t know if that’s because it just opened or if that is customary. The fries and onion rings were pretty good. If you get one order it should definitely be enough for two people to share and probably three. Do not let them convince you that the size of a double patty is very large. It was equivalent to the size of the Jr. at Five Guys. Love the option to create your own burger but unlike Five Guys where all the toppings are free, some toppings are an upcharge here. The taste of the burger was good but not really phenomenal. Although some of my friends disagree, I still like the taste of Five Guys a little better. You do have a lot more options at BurgerFi though so that’s a plus. There are no combos so keep in mind that everything is al a carte. I got a burger and the fries/onion rings with a water and it was about $14. I also got a milkshake afterwards ($5) and I probably wouldn’t do that again. So to sum it up, if you are interested in a good burger with lots of options in a techie looking restaurant, then this is the place for you.
