This little place is a real gem. I ordered the Wolfgang Signature Sandwich. It is a chicken pesto served on a pretzel hogue. I also picked up an amazing looking tart with slivered almonds and fresh fruit in top. Of note, they have a small selection of European candies. My child enjoyed something like a Kinderegg.
Food was not bad but served cold and overpriced. Maybe they were having a bad day so may try again. $26 for two meals at lunch that was average at best. I expected more.
The Wolfgang sandwich is outstanding. It has pesto, chicken, tomatoes, and cheese on a pretzel baguette. So flavorful. Their desserts are interesting and delicious. The hot chocolate is good but don’t expect it to be as quick as coffee.
Love. The snack rolls are outstanding. I buy all available every time I am in there. Also, the ham and cheese croissant is out of this world good for a ham and cheese croissant. Never tried any of the coffees, but it seems very popular. Will be back soon.
Great Coffee Shop. Great little coffee shop with authentic German fare and some more Americanized options too. Try the lunch specials, very good!Staff is courteous but I wouldn’t call them friendly. Much like the service you would get in Europe.
My eating tour of Tuscaloosa!. Just found what we are lacking in my part of NW Florida, a great bakery and cafe! This place has so much going for it, a great staff that never slowed down, yummy food and the perfect setting to people watch, surf the internet (thanks for the wifi) and read. I ended up staying until lunch and got a terrific sandwich (can’t remember the name, pretzel roll, mozzarella, pesto chicken) and a chocolate croissant to take to my hotel. Thinking about going back tomorrow for my last breakfast in T town!
Best coffee shop in TUSCALOOSA. Best service and the place is clean. I love their vanilla latte and for lunch you have to try the pretzel stick with home made soup!
