Place is pretty good, but not the best BBQ in Tuscaloosa. There are several other places I prefer, so they really need something unique to make them stand out among the plethora of completion. Prices could be a little better, too.
Hoo’s. I got the grilled chicken breast, white sauce, fried corn on the cob and Mac and Cheese. Food was awesome! Chicken was so tender I barely needed a knife to cut it. The white sauce was great!Watching the end of the LSU v ND bowl game was an added bonus. #RollTide
Quite good but needs fine tuning.. Four of us ate there last Saturday night. The pork and chicken were quite good as well as the sides plus the service was courteous and attentive. However, after talking among ourselves we have some suggestions. The quality of the food was high, however, some additional and healthier sides are needed. For example a small dinner salad and perhaps some steamed vegetables such as brocolli would be great. The decor is a little bleak. There needs to be some attention given to the lighting (its a little stark in there now). Overall we were pleased and will probably return.
Really enjoyed our meal. BBQ was awesome, and so was the sauce. wasn’t too crazy about onion rings, they didn’t have any flavor. but other than that, loved it!
The restaurant was very clean but have to say service was terrible. We strode in line for a long time. The barbecue pulled pork was tasty but not worth the price. Next time I will a little dither down street to Full Moon.
Delicious. Meatloaf Sandwich! I also add extra bacon, cheese, and pickles to it. It is so good, especially with the white sauce that’s on the table! I have been here numerous times and will be back numerous more times! Great Food!
