Wow! I have been living in Tuscaloosa too long, to not have tried this place! The food was DELICIOUS, the service was very quick and VERY friendly. And the price of the food is very low! So come on out! You won’t be sorry you did!
Great Little Gem. Hooligans’ has the best wraps, burgers, baklava, tazaiki etc etc. All is made on the premises.Should be written about more as a good stop when folks are in Tuscaloosa!!!!
Poor food quailtly for A LOT of money!. I went to the new Hooligan’s off of McFarland Blvd, and it was HORRIBLE!!! I ordered one of their wraps and a drink! My fries were cold, the wrap was in a Taco tortilla and so soggy I couldn’t eat it the plastic that was around it made melted in to the wrap!! I paid during lunch hours a little over 13 bucks for the worse food I had eaten in years!!!!! WILL NEVER GO BACK!
Many satisfied meals.. I’ve always had a good time at this place. They have a great mint tea (up until I tried it, I hated mint in everything I had tried it in). They also have a rewards card sorta thing if you ask for it- I think it is something along the lines of after you purchase 10 combos or wraps you get a free hamburger or wrap.The lentil soup is rolling the dice. Sometimes the consistency is like water, other times it is heartily viscous. Either way, it is good.. but so much better when it has some weight to it. Not sure exactly what the seasoning is on the fries (tastes similar to Lawry’s seasoning salt), but it is good. The baklava has been great every time I’ve tried it.You get an olive and a pepperoncini in every order of hummus.If you are vegan/vegetarian, take into account that they grill the vegetables on the same surface they grill the meat on.
The cheeseburger!. Absolutely the best burger you will ever eat! I crave them constantly. Go to comfort food ive lived in tuscaloosa for 8 years and its honestly the only thing i ever order i should venture out but you know the burger will always be good. I pretty much compare any other burger i eat to a hooligans burger. It can’t be beat and the atmosphere is always great!
Chaucer. The prices on the menu pictured here are well out of date. Be ready to pay $.50 to $1.50 more per item. The sampler platter is no longer $9.99 but $13.95!
I love Hooligans! Awesome gyros, amazing mint sweet tea, great hummus. Very laid back, friendly staff. When in Tuscaloosa, give it a try. Excellent restaurant!
