Good food. Hubby and I stopped by Maggie’s for lunch. Food was good . I had pork chop green beans homade Mac and cheese and a hoe cake. Food was down home style cookin. There was no counting calories and no carbs in this trip. Will go again. Gonna have the meatloaf next time

Get the Collard Greens. I have ordered double and triple portions of their collards and nothing else! Delish. Cool little place, nothing fancy. It’s got character. Soul food is flavored with meat, so definitely not vegan or veggie.
Yummmmm. This is the best meat and three i have been to in Tuscaloosa. i cannot believe more people are not going there. i will be going alot. try the large lima beans with rice. they are a treat.
